Nick Reider / Trumpet

 

Nick Reider is a popular performer and instructor primarily specializing in Trumpet, but also provides instruction in Trombone, French Horn, and most brass instruments.

Nick has been performing and teaching in the Baltimore/D.C. area for the last 10 years. He studied music at Towson University and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education in 2000.

 

He provides private instruction in classical and jazz styles to students of all musical abilities from elementary to the collegiate level. His skilled approach to preparing students for auditions and graded performances has been quite successful as many of his students are 1st chair in their respective school bands and have participated in All-County and All-State Concert and Jazz Bands.

 

In addition to private instruction, Nick performs in several local bands and writes music for a variety of well known artists. Some of his performing highlights include playing with Grammy Award Winner The Isley Brothers, The B-52's, and Cuba Gooding Sr. He also recorded trumpet & flugelhorn for BILLBOARD’S #1 ALBUM FOR CONTEMPORARY JAZZ - "NAJEE - RISING SUN".
